Here is my tour on Google Earth about the formation of ancient civilizations and the connection to physical geography.

    Being an ancient civilizations teach can I just say that I love your idea! It is so important to teach students to see and appreciate the foundations of our civilization and culture.

    I think that pictures are a great way to do that. However, it doesn't look like you are using the resources that are in Google Earth. At each location you have them view a slideshow. You can do all of that with PowerPoint. Google Earth can do so much more. Look at including the terrain layer, Ancient Rome Layer, 3D buildings layer (all of these locations would have some great 3D buildings like the Parthenon or the Coliseum), the 360cities layer, or creating an overlay image. There is so much potential with this assignment!

  2. I think ancient civilizations are awesome, so great idea! The pictures were a good addition as well. The questions you posed will make the kids think.
