Recently I've found myself grappling with trying to find a way to understand the concerns of so many people about the many current social issues that exist within and without the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Many of the social issues we are dealing with today have never been dealt with before nor been so openly discussed as is possible with the internet these days. I am concerned that it seems that some people cannot seem to believe that church leaders understand or care about their concerns or feelings. I think that most people are just trying to understand the applications of justice and mercy in a complex world with complex issues. This blog is my attempt to sort through my thoughts and hopefully help others understand the functioning chasm of justice and mercy and how the Gospel of Jesus Christ provides peace and love amidst uncertainty and amidst change.
